These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Bedrock Waterproofing website. Separate quotes, proposals or written agreements may contain additional terms that apply to waterproofing services supplied by Bedrock Waterproofing.
By accessing this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the website.
The information on this website is provided for general purposes only. While we aim to keep it accurate and current, it is not a substitute for an onsite assessment or advice based on the specific condition of your property.
Images shown on the website may be illustrative. Waterproofing methods, materials, timeframes and outcomes can vary according to the project.
Quotes are based on the information available when they are prepared and remain valid for the period stated in the quote.
The agreed scope of work, price, payment arrangements and estimated schedule will be set out in the accepted quote or written agreement. Work outside the agreed scope may require a variation and additional charges.
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area at the agreed time. The site should be cleared of personal belongings or obstructions unless otherwise arranged.
If concealed damage, unsuitable substrates, asbestos, structural defects, active leaks or unexpected site conditions are discovered, additional assessment or work may be required. Bedrock Waterproofing will discuss material changes before proceeding where reasonably practicable.
Customers are responsible for:
Providing accurate project and property information
Disclosing known leaks, damage or hazardous materials
Ensuring necessary permissions and approvals are obtained
Providing access to water, electricity and relevant work areas where required
Following care, curing and maintenance instructions
Preventing other trades from damaging completed waterproofing work
Changes requested after work has commenced may affect the price and completion schedule. Variations should be approved in writing before the additional work proceeds. Urgent work required to make an area safe or prevent immediate damage will be discussed with the customer wherever reasonably possible.
Payment terms, deposits, progress payments and due dates will be specified in the quote or invoice.
Customers must pay undisputed amounts by the stated due date. If an invoice is disputed, the customer should contact Bedrock Waterproofing promptly with details of the concern.
Estimated commencement and completion dates may change because of weather, drying or curing requirements, material availability, site access, other trades or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Bedrock Waterproofing will communicate significant delays and arrange a revised schedule where practicable.
Cancellation or rescheduling arrangements will be outlined in the applicable quote or agreement. Costs already reasonably incurred for ordered materials, completed work or committed labour may remain payable where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or cooling-off rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
Waterproofing performance depends on factors including surface condition, preparation, drainage, structural movement, maintenance and whether the completed membrane is protected from damage.
Customers must notify Bedrock Waterproofing promptly if they become aware of a suspected problem and provide reasonable access for inspection.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Any additional workmanship or product warranty will be described in the relevant quote, agreement or warranty documentation.
To the extent permitted by law, Bedrock Waterproofing is not responsible for loss caused by matters outside the agreed scope, pre-existing defects, concealed damage, structural movement, blocked drainage, interference by other trades, improper maintenance or unauthorised alterations.
This clause does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
